The standard RTLS Gateway is used for X,Y locating, as well as applications which require a blinking LED tag.
The Presence Gateway is capable of detection of asset presence at a site, or within a defined area. It functions by receiving signals from asset tags and does not host a transmit capability.
Presence Gateways are used to identify if an asset is detected and does not support X,Y locating.
A gatepost is a stand alone device that does not require networking. Used as an element in conjunction with another Gateway, its primary function is to transmit to tags to identify their presence in a specific location.
Gateposts are used to monitor chokepoint & ingress/egress points.
