Sharon Barnes, Chief Executive Officer
RFind Systems is pleased to have Sharon Barnes as the CEO of the organization. Sharon brings to the organization over fifteen years of experience in the executive management of start-up organizations and over five years of experience implementing active RFID solutions in manufacturing environments. Prior to starting with RFind Systems, Sharon worked with several large manufacturing organizations that were evaluating active RFID solutions and was recognized for her leadership in the implementation of solutions for these organizations. She has also worked with several start-up organizations during the early stages to bring the organizations to a point of production readiness with their products. Bill Spittle, Chief Operating Officer
Joining the RFind team in 2008, Bill brings with him twenty-two years of leadership experience in a wide variety of industries. He comes to us from Bridges Transitions Inc., a Kelowna software development company, where during his time there he held a variety of executive roles including VP of Business Development, VP of Corporate Integration and VP of Product Development & Technology. Bill has previously managed the international treasury operations for Western Star Trucks Holdings Ltd. and has held various corporate and commercial bank management positions in Toronto and Vancouver: specializing in term and acquisition financing. Bill has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) degree from Simon Fraser University and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario (Richard Ivey School of Business). Marty Brooks, Chief Technology Officer
Marty Brooks comes to RFind Systems with a solid background in active RFID implementation in both private and public sectors that spans more than eight years. Marty has worked closely with several global government and military bodies that are seeking to implement active RFID systems. Prior to starting with RFind Systems, Marty also worked with certification institutions worldwide to ensure certification of active RFID products. Gord Neilson, Vice President
Gord Neilson has over fifteen years of leadership experience in the wireless telecommunications industry, involving all aspects of technology and product development, project and program management, and process and organizational development. Prior to joining RFind, Gord was with Nortel Networks where he spent the majority of his career leading teams to develop complex RF products for global market applications, such as cellular base station radios, power amplifiers and related equipment. He also oversaw the development and introduction of novel base-band pre-distortion technology for linear transmission of high power radio signals, resulting in over twenty patents, including three where Gord is a co-inventor. Gord is a registered Professional Engineer in Alberta and holds both a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba. Contact Gord info@RFind.com
Barb Howard, Director of Global Business Development
Barb Howard joined RFind with a technology and health sciences background coupled with a decade of sales experience. Barb’s strength shine through in channel management, championing RFQ’s, contract administration, and ensuring that the voice of the customers makes it to the right ears. Prior to joining RFind, Barb was Western Regional Sale Manager with Austco, securing business with government, private sector facilities (national and internationally) and provincial healthcare regions. She also led the clinical account team for voice, data, fibre, telephony and security both in-building and wireless, with BMS Communications.
